Being the best husband and father that I can possibly be is my #1 job. In order to accomplish that, I see my health as an important factor of my life. Eating properly and exercising adequately are of the utmost importance if I am to remain healthy. 

Soon I will be posting a food journal as well as a workout journal. I will also be posting pictures of my home gym that I am currently putting together in an effort to save time and money by working out from home.

Currently I am on the Stronglifts 5x5 program. This is a very basic program that has you starting with just the bar in almost every workout. This helps you master form without having too much weight and allows your muscles to adapt to lifting.
